The Queensland Government’s "Queen's Wharf Brisbane" Project has entered a new exciting phase with the announcement of the successful bidder: Destination Brisbane (Echo Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium (Australia) and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises).

How are Cities Responding to Urbanism?

The Brisbane Development Association proudly partnered with the Australian Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat to stage a symposium and luncheon seminar on this important and topical theme on 1 September 2015 at the Customs House, Queen St, Brisbane CBD.

The BDA's Executive Director, Mark Doonar, joined 120 professionals from diverse fields, to hear international and national speakers present their considered views on the topic from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, New York and elsewhere around the globe.

Lord Mayor Presents Certificates to BDA Patron Members

On Tuesday, 21 July 2015, the Lord Mayor of Brisbane, Graham Quirk, presented certificates of membership to the Patron Members of the Brisbane Development Association. The presentations were made at the BDA Lord Mayor's Annual "State of the City" address held at Tattersall's Club. The luncheon event attracted 240 attendees.
